Dr. Palakodeti holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor of Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and has served on general surgery residency core faculty. For fellows in breast surgery, surgical oncology, or cosmetic surgery seeking advanced exposure to oncoplastic technique, nipple-sparing mastectomy, implant-based reconstruction using current techniques including Goldilocks mastectomy, SWIM flap, and ADM-based subpectoral reconstruction or dual-specialty practice models, observership and structured fellowship rotation arrangements are available on a case-by-case basis.

Visiting Surgeons & Proctorship
Practicing surgeons seeking to observe or be proctored in procedures within Dr. Palakodeti's surgical scope (oncoplastic lumpectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, advanced implant-based reconstruction techniques) are welcome to reach out to discuss structured observation or proctorship arrangements.
